Market Pantry Thin Steak Slices Make Quick Dinners

Last night, I ate beef stew electric pressure cooker at Esplanade mall in Bangkok, Thailand with one of my Thai friends. She's been raving about Santa Fe Steak, a Thai chain restaurant, for a while and wanted me to try it. Promoted as an American-style steak house, it's become popular in Bangkok for steak and western food lovers who like the food but don't want to pay the normal Bangkok high prices. So, intrigued, I agreed to eat there with here and I'm thrilled that I did.

The preparation of this meal is very simple and easy. I loved that! I only had to vent the end, cook in the microwave for a few minutes, stir and cook for a few more minutes. I then let this dinner stand for a few minutes before serving. This meal smelled wonderful. It did taste great! This meal makes a wonderful tasting quick lunch for me! It has lots of rice, peppers and onions in it along with tender and tasty slow cooker braised bbq beef strips and pieces. Yum. This dish is delicious. I totally enjoyed it. I rate Michelina's Traditional Recipes Pepper Steak & Rice Dinner four stars out of five stars. I will be buying this dinner again. For the very low price, you cannot beat it. It is low cal and low in fat! Fantastic.

Brown your stewing steak and then transfer to crock pot after draining. Cook onions in skillet, cooking until soft; add garlic, cinnamon and allspice and cook for 1 minute. Next, add vinegar, tomato sauce, sugar and bay leaf and stir well. Pour mixture over meat. Cover and cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours or on High for 4 to 5 hours. Add feta cheese, cover and cook on High for 10 minutes. Remove bay leaf and serve over hot pasta.

Cast iron is a good choice for a dutch oven but iron does react with some foods. Some dutch oven manufacturers put a layer of enamel on the iron and others preseason the pots by spraying oil into them and baking it on. It is possible to erode the preseasoning away making enamel the slow cooker braising steak best choice.

Try and space your meals out evenly throughout the day. 3 hours apart is a sensible choice. Get up early or at a reasonable time to make meal consumption easier. Trying to consume your meals when you get up late will make it very difficult for you to get in the correct amount of calorie and protein for the day.

Since I work at home, having the kitchen stay a comfortable temperature is a must, as I spend quite a bit of time there preparing meals and snacks for my day care kids. I use my crock pot year round, and love its usefulness during the warm weather months when I can fix the beginnings of the meal in the morning when I've got other 'stuff' out on the counter anyway, put it all in the pot, and then clean up the whole mess when I'm done. The crock pot requires very little clean up itself, so there you have yet another major reason for why slow cooking is so great.
