Cooking The Same Thing Day After Day? Try These Great Ideas!

24 Aug 2017
It is tempting to eat nothing but raw fruits and vegetables when starting a whole foods diet. When you start shopping for natural produce that is ripened in the field and is not full of chemicals, you will learn how good everything tastes. Remember that nuts, seeds, whole grains, and beans are also important to your diet. Getting enough healthy protein is necessary to maintain your activity level.

The farmer would have been greatly helped if he had known of the ATV trailers if they had been on the market in those days. These trailers are made for every kind of sport, agricultural use and boat use. They have cushioned suspension and they can transport most things as they have sides that can be let down.

Everybody knows Rice Krispies are made up almost entirely of air. So eating Rice Krispie chicken paprikash squares is just like eating air. That thick layer of fudge on the top is just required to keep the squares from floating away. It's a totally guilt-free snack. In fact, eat the whole pan and you'll actually get LIGHTER because you're eating so much air.

Take pre made biscuits flatten them out place 2 TBS of cheese (1 cup each shredded cheddar cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese and 1/2 cup ricotta cheese) on top of one of the flatten biscuits then top with an another flatten biscuit. Crimp the edges closes, lightly prick the top of the biscuit bake for 12 minutes and serve with dipping sauce such as pizza sauces, salsa, or ranch dressing.

Convenience foods contain a lot of fat, so making your own lunch at home can be a much better alternative. Choose low-fat meats such as paprika chicken and turkey without the skin, and other types of meat by removing any excess fat. Vegetables and salad are vital to our digestive systems, so try and increase the amount you eat each day so that you have at least five different types of salads, vegetables and fruit.

Give yourself some time -- Many people think they can lose 100 pounds whole chicken broth 3 months or less. That is an improbable goal. It will take over 6 months to lose 100 lbs. This is a process with there will be ups and downs and you need to have patience.

First, I use smoked sea salt. This is natural sea salt that has been dried over a smoky fire. People who cook on gas grills really ought to try this amazing product, since it adds a great smoky flavor to food without fire. I also use smoked black pepper and paprika crockpot chicken, although those two don't add nearly as much smoky flavor as the smoked sea salt does. All three of these products can be found online, from many different spice suppliers. I also find that cumin has a naturally smoky flavor, so I often use it liberally in recipes for items that would traditionally be smoked.

In a large bowl, combine the emmer or rice, and the sausage mixture. Add some Parmesan cheese and any spices you want. Suggestions include paprika chicken, sea salt and pepper, cinnamon, cumin, coriander, nutmeg, or thyme.

And last but not least, maybe you do want to cook a whole turkey the classic way, but you'd also like to dress it up a little. Click here to watch Tyler Florence and a mother and daughter cook a turkey, glazed with dried figs, stuffing made form cornbread, caramelized onions, sage, and figs and even a gravy made out of smoked turkey wings.

5 Things Your Christmas Table Should Not Be Without

01 Aug 2017

The Christmas season is fast approaching and with it comes Christmas parties. To have a successful Christmas party there are a number of things to consider in its planning. I will give you some tips and ham joint boiled in cider on dos and don'ts to keep in mind to help make that next Christmas Party a success.

Before actually learn how to bake a slow cooker gammon it is important to make sure that you buy and defrost it in time to prepare. Depending on the size of your ham it will probably take a good 24 hours to defrost your Easter ham dinner in the microwave. This is the safest way to do it though you can also run it under cold water for a couple of hours if you forgot to take it out of the freezer.

This amazing cooking ham Pinot Noir is from one of my personal favorite wineries Cancilla Cellars which is located in the beautiful Willamette Valley of Oregon that I call home.

What to do? Leave it to the pros. Below is a sampling of Columbus-area restaurants that are open on Thanksgiving Day. Many will serve turkey and traditional fixings. Others will offer special menus.

Encourage your children's sense of humour. Whether you gave birth to a christmas ham or a wallflower, help your children let loose. Teach them to focus on the fun part of a challenge not on doing it perfectly. And if your daughter wants to wear her princess costume to school, dust off your tiara and wear it when you drive her. When your kids see you having fun and enjoying the lighter side of life, they'll learn how to laugh at themselves and positively deal with the hard times that are inevitably heading their way.

I often think about the freight I deliver and how it might make an impact on someone's life. Perhaps the steel beams that I delivered to the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville will support the building where a doctor resides who will perform life-saving surgery on a child. Perhaps the lumber I delivered to Newnan, Georgia will make up a wall for the new home of a young couple that have worked and saved to realize their dream. As for the thousands of boxes of toilet paper I have delivered all over the country, well... that should darned near earn me a halo!

Using some of these dos and don'ts when planning your next Christmas party should help you have a successful, fun-filled Christmas party, enjoyed by everyone in attendance. They have many ideas available their for Christmas decorating, food, etc. for that Christmas party you may be planning.
